SUPPLEMENTAWARDS.COM “UK SUPPLEMENT
AWARDS”
OFFICIAL RULES / TERMS & CONDITIONS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
1. HOW THE SUPPLEMENT AWARDS WORK
The overall
program objective is to vote for your favourite supplement products and brands
and enter these selections in the relevant categories. Each voter will be
entered into a free prize draw (that will be determined in a separate online
random drawing) to win a holiday for two to Las Vegas during the week of the
‘Olympia’ 2003. Internet access and or official voting material
forms are required to participate. The product or brand with the most votes in
each category will be awarded the ‘Best in Category’ accolade.
2. There are THREE ways to vote:
- ONLINE AT SUPPLEMENTAWARDS.COM: Register your vote
at SupplementAwards.com
- OFF THE PAGE ADVERTISING: You can vote using the official
voting form on all Supplement Awards advertisements placed by Tiamh Ltd/The
Supplement Awards. Advertising is taking place in several consumer magazines
including Muscle & Fitness, Flex, Real Solutions, and Muscle & Fitness Hers.
- SUPPLEMENT AWARDS CONSUMER VOTING LEAFLETS. You can vote using
the official voting form on all Supplement Awards leaflets. These will be
widely available and distributed in major participating retail outlets of
sports nutrition and supplements, including GNC.
HOW TO VOTE:
- ONLINE AT SUPPLEMENTAWARDS.COM: New Registrants - Starting 9:00am 2nd
December 2002 through midnight 28th March 2003. Visit
SupplementAwards.com register and vote. Follow the online instructions. To register
your vote you must have a unique valid e-mail address. Each vote at The SupplementAwards.com
will be confirmed within receipt of completed/verified registration. Upon the
receipt and processing of registration, registrants will be sent an email with
a link and unique password. Upon clicking the link in the email, registrants
will confirm their vote, be verified and then be entered into the Free Prize
Draw.
- Those with existing SupplementAwards.com registration may only
vote again for different category selections by entering their password into a
‘Re-Voting’ Form. If a registrant has forgotten their password, a
retrieval facility will be accessed by checking the original email address
against the database. Registrants will then be sent an email with their
password allowing them to participate in any voting activities at
SupplementAwards. A cookie will be set identifying computers from which voting
activity is placed.Note: New and reactivated registrants at
SupplementAwards.com can enter votes immediately, providing they do not log off
SupplementAwards.com or become disconnected from the site for any reason prior
to entering. Limit 1 SupplementAward.com registration account per email
address. Votes are non-transferable and cannot be combined from different
SupplementAwards.com accounts for the same registrant, thus it is not
beneficial to set up multiple accounts with different email addresses.
Recommended browsers for PC and MAC users are Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape
6.2. Participants can view their voting details as often as they wish during
the voting period to see their selections. Children under the age of 18 as of
date of registration will not be able to vote.
- OFF THE PAGE ADVERTISING: - Starting 9:00am 2nd
December 2002 through midnight 28th March 2003. Participants may
vote using the voting form on all Supplement Award’s advertisements.
Selections can be entered together with contact and demographic data. All
voting forms are sent freepost directly to Hilton Sharpe and Clark, registered
auditors for the Supplement Awards. Participants are automatically entered into
the free prize draw. Only one vote per category is accepted and participants
may not change their votes once submitted.
- SUPPLEMENT AWARDS VOTING LEAFLETS: - Starting 9:00am 2nd
December 2002 through midnight 28th March 2003. Participants may
vote using the voting form on all Supplement Award’s leaflets. Selections
can be entered together with contact and demographic data. All voting forms are
sent freepost directly to Hilton Sharpe and Clark, registered auditors for the
Supplement Awards. Participants are automatically entered into the free prize
draw.
3. ENTERING THE FREE PRIZE DRAW:
All participants who vote in the
Supplement Awards will be automatically entered into the free prize draw. The
random drawing of the prize will be determined by the number of participants
entered and not the number of votes submitted in the various categories.
Entering multiple votes will not improve your chances of winning the free prize
draw. The deadline for the prize draw is midnight 28th March 2003.
4. AVAILABLE PRIZE RANDOM DRAWING:
The prize awarded as a result of the random prize draw,
will be one weeks VIP Package for two, during the week of the
‘Olympia’ 2003 at Las Vegas, USA. This package includes hotel
accommodation, entry to the Olympia and 2 return flights (economy). Only one
prize will be awarded. PLEASE
NOTE: Tiamh Ltd reserves the right to add additional prizes during the
SupplementAwards voting period.
5. HOW TO CLAIM THE PRIZE:
There are two ways potential winners are
notified:
The potential winner of the free prize draw, who
submitted their entry ONLINE will be sent a prize notification email in
approximately 24 hours from the conclusion of the random drawing. The email
will include a link to SupplementAwards.com. Logon is required. Prize
notification will be sent to the email address currently indicated in the
participant's SupplementAwards registration. It is the participant's
responsibility to register with a valid email address. The email and link will
provide claiming instructions. The winner will be required to complete all the
information requested in the Prize Claim Form (indicating prize acceptance) or
indicate if they wish to refuse their prize and submit completed form to be
received within 15 days of date and time email was sent/link appeared on Home
Page. Non-compliance within this time period will result in disqualification of
eligibility for the prize.
The potential winner of the free prize draw, who
submitted their entry in HARD COPY via a Supplement Award official voting form,
will be sent a prize notification letter in approximately 24 hours from the
conclusion of the random drawing. Prize notification will be sent to the
address currently indicated in the participant's SupplementAwards voting form.
It is the participant's responsibility to register with a valid address. The
letter will provide claiming instructions. The winner will be required to
complete all the information requested in the Prize Claim Form (indicating
prize acceptance) or indicate if they wish to refuse their prize and submit
completed form to be received within 15 days of date and time notification
letter was sent. Non-compliance within this time period will result in
disqualification of eligibility for the prize.
6. GENERAL RULES:
Voting programme starts on 2nd December 2002
until 28th March 2003. Open to residents of the UK. Employees of Tiamh
Ltd, & the immediate family members &/or those living in same household
of each are not eligible. All UK laws & regulations apply. All national taxes
are sole responsibility of registrant/winner. By participating, registrants agree
to be bound by Official Rules/Terms & Conditions. Tiamh Ltd, Sponsor/administrator
decisions are final. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. Allow 8
weeks from date completed prize claim form for receipt of prizes. Tiamh Ltd
Supplement Awards reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater
value. No other substitution is permitted. Prior to ticket release, the winner
must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid passport I.D.) prior to
departure. Winner must agree to travel on dates specified by Tiamh
Ltd/Supplement Awards, dates of departure & return subject to change &
availability. Winners assume all liability for any injury/damage caused/claimed
to be caused by participation in this offer or use/redemption of
prizes/services.
INTERNET: CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL OR
GROUP TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE SUPPLEMENTAWARDS.COM WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE
LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE VOTING PROCEDURE OR PRIZE DRAW IS A VIOLATION OF
CRIMINAL & CIVIL LAWS, & SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, TIAMH LTD RESERVES
THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete,
illegible, postage due or misdirected mail; faulty, incorrect, or
mistranscribed phone/e-mail transmission; incorrect announcements of any kind;
incorrect SupplementAwards.com Codes; technical hardware or software failures
of any kind, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other
person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing
any materials in the voting procedure, lost or unavailable network connections,
or failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission that may limit
a user's ability to participate in the voting procedure; or any error that may
occur in the processing of SupplementAwards registrations or SupplementAwards.com
Codes. Tiamh Ltd reserves the right to cancel or modify the voting procedure if
fraud or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Awards programme; or
if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the
administration, security, or proper play of the Awards programme as determined
by Tiamh Ltd and the official auditor, in their sole discretion. In the event
of termination of the Awards programme, a notice will be posted online. In the
event of the Prize Draw, the "Authorized e-mail account holder" is
defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an
Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g.,
business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning
e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Participants
may be requested to provide Tiamh Ltd/Supplement Awards with proof that the
participant is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated
with the account/submission. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or the like methods
of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. Any Official Voting
Form Piece that is illegible, mutilated, altered, duplicated, tampered with,
forged, cut or torn will be null & void. Only Official Voting Forms shall be
deemed to have been obtained legitimately. In no event will Tiamh
Ltd/Supplement Awards be obligated to award more than the number of prizes as
stated.
7. WINNERS OF CATEGORIES
Winners of ‘Best Categories’ will be
announced in Muscle & Fitness June 2003 issue and announced to National
Press 30th May 2003.
8. WINNER OF FREE PRIZE DRAW
The winner of the Free Prize Draw will be announced 9
weeks after closing date for voting entries. Winners name will be displayed on
SupplementAwards.com and may be printed on any subsequent promotional
material.
9. RESULTS VERIFIED AND COLLATED
All votes and results are verified, counted and held by
Hilton Sharpe and Clark, independent firm of registered UK auditors.
